Detaljer Publikationsdato7. december 2016 (Senest opdateret den: 20. juni 2023) Beskrivelse Hvert år udarbejder Kommissionen en årlig forvaltnings- og effektivitetsrapport,, som giver et overblik over de resultater, der er opnået med EU's budget, og forklarer, hvordan det er blevet forvaltet og beskyttet. Denne rapport er Kommissionens hovedbidrag til den årlige dechargeprocedure for budgettet. Rapporten fastlægger desuden de skridt, Kommissionen tager for at sikre, at EU's budget forvaltes i overensstemmelse med de højeste standarder for forsvarlig økonomisk forvaltning. Med vedtagelsen af denne rapport påtager Kommissionen sig det overordnede politiske ansvar for forvaltningen af budgettet. Det er sidste fase af Kommissionens årlige planlægnings-, programmerings- og rapporteringscyklus. Den årlige forvaltnings- og effektivitetsrapport vedrørende EU's budget er en del af Kommissionens pakke om integreret finansiel og ansvarlighedsrapportering, der omfatter andre rapporter som det konsoliderede regnskab. Den integrerede rapporteringspakke for økonomi og ansvarlighed repræsenterer Kommissionens vigtigste input til den årlige dechargeprocedure, hvorigennem Europa-Parlamentet og Rådet giver deres endelige godkendelse af budgetgennemførelsen i et specifikt år.
